ROUNDUP SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER 2020

Great to see the start of the Energia Community Series begin today, although disappointing not to have spectators.

Today though thankfully we had streaming action from Templeville Road for the 1st XV against Clontarf. A great game of rugby to watch despite the result. Unfortunately Clontarf won 27-19 in the end. Some great displays from the St Mary’s men. The commentary made the game very enjoyable to watch. Well done to our own Niall Rynne. We hopefully will hear more commentary from Rynner at our upcoming home games.

Stay tuned to our Website/App/Club Ezine/Social Media channels next week for D’s match report from the game. A much needed read in these Covid times.

In today’s other Leinster Conference 1 games: Naas overcome our neighbours Terenure 19-12. Trinity game away from Ollie Campbell Park with a resounding 37-14 win over Old Belvedere. Finally around the corner from this game in Energia Park Wesley got the win at home to UCD 18-14.

Meanwhile in Leinster Conference 2 in the only games played today:

Greystones had a big 43-22 win in Stradbrook against Blackrock.  Wanderers had a 25-10 win at home to Enniscorthy.

Roll on the big one new weekend for the battle of Parishes of D6W down in Lakeland’s for the Derby game.

Keep an eye on our Social Media channels in the lead up to the Derby game!!
