MINI RUGBY START BACK:
Hi Everyone,
We hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to getting back to Mini Rugby.
St Mary's Covid Committee have been working very hard over the past month getting our coaches ready and all relevant documents compiled so we can have our Mini's return to play safely.
We plan to return to training on September 13th with exact details to follow along with more information on some of our new Covid Compliance measures - many of which you may already be familiar with.
For now we are pleased to announce that we are taking advantage of our own club app (ClubZap) Not only will this be a central hub for all Club news, fixtures and results, it will also provide the club with contact tracing information that is mandatory at present.
All members (or their guardians) must download the app, accept their allocated training slot and fill out the Covid Return to Play form on ClubZap the day before arriving to training.
Every year we look forward to welcoming our newest players to the club, our Under 6 team. This team is for kids who were born in 2015 and who have reached the age of 5. The Under 6 group is already set up on ClubZap under the stewardship of Joe Shine. If you are aware of any children who may be interested in joining, please forward this message.

PATRICK CRAWFORD ELECTION
The President and Officers together with the Trustees are delighted to announce and congratulate our current Vice President, Patrick Crawford on his recent election to the post of Chairman of the Senior Clubs Committee within Leinster Branch. This is a well deserved appointment for Patrick and just reward for the work he has done and continues to do for both St Mary’s College RFC and the wider Leinster Branch community.

GOLF CLASSIC 2020 ROUNDUP
The annual St. Mary's College RFC Golf Classic 2020 took place last Friday, 28th August in the Castle Golf Club.
A number of teams took part in the event. A great day was had by all.

CLUB DRAW - HELP SUPPORT YOUR CLUB!
CLUB DRAW:
Every month we will be running a Club Draw. The cost is only €10 per month and there's a €1,000 GUARANTEED winner every month!
This will help raise vital funds for the club during these difficult times while also giving you the chance to win some cash!
The draw can be entered through our website or through our new app "ClubZap". Once you've downloaded the app and selected St. Mary's College RFC as your club, click on "My Club", then click on "Club Shop" and that's where you'll find the option to enter the draw - simple as that!
The draw will be done on the 3rd Friday of each month starting in September (18th).
Remember, if you're not in you can't win!

CLUBZAP APP
Clubzap How to use.
Step 1 - Visit the Apple App Store / Google Play for Android and search for "ClubZap" or CLICK HERE
Step 2 - Install the app and when it launches search for our Club "St. Mary's College RFC"
Step 3 - Validate you installation by completing the form with your Name, Email and Phone Number. Please enter your name and details, not those of your child.
Step 4 - Once registered Click the "Chat" menu option at the bottom of the page. Once inside Chat section click on the speech bubble icon in the bottom right. This will allow you to select the team or teams that you wish to join. You might be asked to validate your age for child protection reasons.
Step 5 - Your Team Manager/ Head Coach will send out training invites each week with the Covid Health Assessment form.
